This is a contingent position based upon contract award
KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Custodian to join our team supporting a government client in the Maryland Area. In this role you will be part of the acquisition management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disinfecting and sanitizing common areas and high-touch points
- High and low dusting, scrubbing, and polishing
- Cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
- Restocking supplies and inventory
- Emptying and disposing of trash and recycling bins
- Vacuuming, mopping, dust mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing floors
- Cleaning and polishing furniture, fixtures, and elevators
- Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Empty waste containers
- Perform restroom checks and cleaning
- Clean water fountains
- Clean fitness centers, showers and locker rooms
- Clean elevators
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
- Maintains custodial equipment in a clean, safe operable condition
- Performs other related work as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
- 5 years of janitorial or housekeeping experience. of experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job to include lifting objects, carrying objects and vacuums, extended walking, bending, and reaching over one’s head.
- A team player that can follow guidance.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
Basic Compensation:
$31,200 - $46,700
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
