Toyota Motor Mfg. Texas (TMMTX)Axle Plant Production Control Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Production Control Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support all aspects of External Logistics, ensuring hoshin activity is implemented to achieve KPIs for safety, quality, cost, productivity, and human resource development.
Reporting to the Manager of Axle Plant Production Control the person in this role will support the Production Control department in the TMMTX Axle Plant’s objective to:
Enhance shop culture and drive change throughout the facility.
As a tier 1 supplier, commitment to zero flow-out of NG quality to our customers.
Support the TMMTX Axle Plants's objective to build the highest quality drivetrain components that delight our customers.
Focus on Mendomi through, "Interdependent Safety,” and “Any Member - Any Process.”
Strong dedication to environmental impact reduction activities.
Supporting a "Problem Solving Culture" where obstacles to problem solving are eliminated and all members are empowered to find and fix problems.
This position is based in San Antonio, TX. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.
What you’ll be doing
Manage part inventory from Overseas and North America
Manage customer Finished Goods Inventory
Manage General Stores inventory
Work closely with Vehicle Production Control: Packaging, PPM, and the Control Room
Support and develop suppliers and service providers to implement countermeasures to problems and bottlenecks
Ensure Hoshin is implemented efficiently and effectively, and all activity is in alignment to support it
Work closely with other units to ensure all objectives are met in Parts Ordering, Inventory Management, & Shipping
Consistent focus on continuous improvement in the processes to achieve KPI results
What you bring
1 year of Production Control Toyota Automotive Experience or relevant degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering
1 year of demonstrated understanding / ability to use problem solving tools and concepts to improve processes
2 years of intermediate experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications
This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position

TBP Panel Completion
Strong Communication Skills – both verbal & written: Strategy documents, problem solving reporting documents.
General Stores (SAP) and Parts Ordering Systems (ex: Server eKanban, FOD, etc) startup experience from construction through start of production.
Working knowledge of Toyota enterprise software systems (example: SMS, ECI, Server Ekanban, GALC, TLMSG, Etc)
Proven leadership from a project management or leadership position
Understanding of JKK and can demonstrate effective utilization of JKK for process setup.
Multi PC section experience / understanding of the relationships between the PC functions
