You will be a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Strategy & Business Development (S&BD) team. Our team is responsible for analyzing complex datasets, generating insights, and supporting strategic investment decisions across MFC.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and developing dashboards and reports to communicate findings effectively. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators and deliver data-driven recommendations, and perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support investment decisions. Your responsibilities will include:
• Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets from internal and external sources
• Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators and deliver data-driven recommendations
• Performing statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support investment decisions
• Ensuring data integrity and accuracy by implementing quality checks and documenting methodologies
• Supporting MFC's New Business Funds (NBF) manager, Independent Validation Team, and Strategic Growth Board
• Leading or supporting ad-hoc strategy projects and analyses for Strategic Planning Senior Leadership

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Experience in project/program management
- 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related role, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
- Microsoft Office Suite; advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data
- Experience with advanced analysis tools and languages (i.e. Python, R, JMP, MATLAB) for data analysis and scripting
- Basic understanding of statistical methods and modeling techniques
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated self-starter requiring limited supervision with proven ability to resolve challenges
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

- Learning agility; tenacious focus on driving to data-driven recommendations despite uncertainty and risk
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities
- Ability to establish and maintain highly effective and collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries and geographical locations, with LOB and functional leaders/team members
- Familiarity with MFC’s NBF Allocation and Management processes and tools (including MFC Bridge, Opportunity Hub, E-TIP)
- Process improvement experience -- the capacity to observe, learn, and make recommendations for continuous improvements
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts or tools.
- Prior experience in a tech or AI-driven industry.
- Business / Digital Transformation experience
- Market forecasting; Experience using Jane’s
- Company analysis
- Knowledge of military systems, especially MFC’s portfolio
- Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry experience
- Master’s Degree in Business or relevant field

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
