What does this role look like?
As a Senior Producer you will oversee the planning, production, and delivery of projects in partnership with Creative Directors, Artists, and other Lockheed Martin stakeholders across the organization. You will bring multi-disciplinary knowledge to our project pipeline as you plan and deliver projects on scope, on time, and on budget.
As you draw upon your depth of experience in pre-production, production, and post-production you will be accountable for making decisions daily that influence the path of each project to ensure that it delivers as planned to avoid impacting the larger pipeline.
In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:
- Own projects from request intake to final delivery
- Drive project budgets, resources and schedules ensuring communications with all stakeholders
- Produce multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Communicate clearly and facilitate the flow of information to the creative team, artists, clients, stakeholders and vendors
- Engage in professional development to continuously grow in your profession and remain competitive with outside services
- Build and nurture a multi-discipline vendor network through our vendor management system, Exostar
- When necessary, partner with external vendors to drive projects from intake to delivery on budget, schedule and within scope
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.Basic Qualifications:To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,
- 3+ years of experience in 3D, FX, or Motion Graphics production, video production, or a relevant field
- Familiarity with multiple project management tools and professional project management experience
- Deep understanding of production workflows, media/digital asset management tools
- Demonstrated passion for storytelling audio, video, and/or written content
- Ability to perform quality control with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently with general direction
Desired Skills:To be effective, ideally, you should also have:- Ability to convey creative ideas within a collaborative environment
- Must be flexible with outstanding work ethic and possess the ability to respond quickly to company and client needs
- A forward thinking planner who anticipates what will come next to identify problems and propose solutions
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment with multiple deadlines
- Proven exceptional strategic communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation – to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
- Experience with project management tools such as AirTable, Workamajig or Microsoft Project
- Self-starter behaviors with great organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a Fortune 500 company, Agency or A&D industry

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
