Job Description

This position is very fast paced and will be responsible for supporting the Parking Services department by overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day parking, revenue, valet and shuttling needs for guest and team members as well as supervises parking, tollbooth and valet employees.  As a parking supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring that all the parking, valet, revenue areas and shuttle vehicles are maintained in clean and presentable condition every day. Additionally, this person is responsible in ensuring team members comply with standards and procedures established by the company as well as implementing departmental programs focusing on team member & guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Uphold our Environmental Health and Safety standards
  • Mentors and counsels Team Members and while enforcing policies and procedures ensuring compliance of company and departmental standards
  • Responsible for managing Team Members providing work direction, performance reviews and coaching
  • Responds to Guest and Team Member feedback in a timely manner
  • Build and supports internal cross departmental relationships
  • Executes strategic plans of the area that focuses on providing a positive experience for Team Members, guests and ultimately provides positive financial returns
  • Coordinates and executes the day-to-day operational and special event needs
  • Coordinate development planning and training for Lead Team Members
  • Create and update job descriptions, standard operating procedures, and handbooks when necessary to ensure all information is current and up to date.
  • Assist Manager in the hiring, training, and development of Team Members
  • Supports the Team Member and Guest satisfaction programs (TSAT/GSAT), ensuring Team Members understand the importance of the programs
  • Rewards and recognizes team members every day for above and beyond performance
  • Ensures that collective bargaining agreements are upheld by partnering with HR and Labor Relations
  • Investigates incidents including Team Member/Guest concerns and/or complaints
  • Leads by example by modeling the Core Values
  • Manage daily Labor and adjust to operational needs
  • Plan daily Tollbooth, Valet, and Special Events parking needs by ensuring proper areas are staffed and prepared for guest and Team Member parking
  • Understand and uphold the B-192 collective bargaining agreement by partnering with Human resources and Labor Relations to maintain positive union relationships
  • Be knowledgeable and able to manage operating budgets and adjust operations as necessary to maintain budget under control. Setting and meeting financial goals and objectives set forth by the company
  • Apply and implement performance standards by proactively thinking on new ideas, concepts, and procedures relative to changing business and staffing needs.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school education required
  • Minimum 2 years of Parking/Transportation Operations management/team leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including experience in guest service.
  • Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and nights as required
  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
