The Opportunity: We’re seeking Information Assurance Analysts for future and upcoming positions at Langley AFB, Virginia. These roles are part of a mission-critical Military Intelligence Program that directly supports the U.S. Air Force’s Air Combat Command (ACC) ISR mission.
As an Information Assurance Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role supporting the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS). You’ll provide Information Assurance (IA) expertise to Wing and Squadron-level organizations at Joint-Base Langley-Eustis.

Your Impact: Primary Responsibilities
Lead risk assessments and document findings.
Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
Provide ongoing surveillance of mission-critical AF DCGS systems for Authority to Operate (ATO) and Interim Authorizations to Test (IATT).
Perform meticulous inspections of computer equipment, software, and magnetic media during SCIF installations and removals.
Investigate, verify, and report on firewall exceptions, network service requests (NSR), and port service requests (PSR).
Ensure compliance by implementing IA and security protocols to address and resolve security violations.
Craft capability-based IA requirements tailored to user, policy, regulatory, and resource needs.
Collaborate with product developers, AF acquisition agents, and operations teams to deliver IA solutions in both daily operations and strategic forums.
Validate and maintain Security Plan accreditations.
Prepare and update documentation as needed to ensure mission success.
What You Bring to the Table: Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience: BA/BS degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience (additional experience may substitute for a degree).
Certifications: Active TS/SCI clearance eligibility and DoD 8570.01 certifications.
Skill Set: Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with on-site personnel and enterprise stakeholders. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Deep knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment and Authorizations (A&A).
Experience using platforms like Xacta IA Manager and Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for A&A workflows.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
