What does a successful Mechanical Engineer - Tooling and Process do at Fiserv?

What you will do:
- Work closely with our Design teams, and JDM partners to guide and manage Tooling suppliers through the design phase and verification builds and into mass production.
- Work on-site with manufacturing partners to review designs, run experiments, and troubleshoot issues.
- On-site support at the manufacturing site during the NPI stages to ensure the design is built and tested successfully.
- Effectively handle multiple projects and drive results in a changing environment.
What you will need to have:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.
- 5+ years of experience in Tooling and process development are key.
- Ability to write and verbally communicate in English.
- Must have strong Tooling and manufacturing fundamentals and a strong track record of shipping products in large volumes.
- Must have strong knowledge of the Tooling design and manufacturing of plastic injection molds and stamping tools.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing support.
- Cad Tools: Proficient in part modeling and 2D drawings required, preferably with Creo.
- Experience performing Tolerance Analysis and Failure Analysis.
What would be great to have:
- Bilingual skills in Portuguese or Mandarin.
- MS in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in Product design is a plus.
- The ideal candidate is someone from a consumer electronics background who has designed high volume, highly cosmetic, and reliable products from concept to mass production.
