What you will do:
As a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer at Clover you'll enhance the security posture of our infrastructure, including cloud environments, by implementing and managing cloud, network, and system/OS-level security controls. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to make strategic design decisions and advocate for security improvements. Additionally, you'll respond to infrastructure security alerts, conduct investigations, and participate in IT and security audits. You'll also evaluate cloud architectures for security concerns, provide consultation on mitigation strategies, and build and manage infrastructure for security-related applications and services.The Senior Security Engineer is a high-visibility role that requires the ability to make decisions that take the business into account and is seen as a trusted partner to engineering leaders.You will serve as an advisor to the GRC team and partner with the larger business to implement security policies and standards.
What you will need to have:
5+ years of infrastructure security experience
3+ years securing cloud platforms GCP, AWS (e.g. IAM, VPC Security, KMS)
3+ years working with and hardening Linux environments
Experience with IaC / configuration management technologies (e.g. Terraform, Puppet)
Experience with IAM technologies (e.g: LDAP, SAML 2.0)
Knowledge of basic cryptography and common network protocols
Experience with Python or Java coding is a plus
Basic understanding of kubernetes containers and related technologies
Basic understanding of Web Application Firewall (WAF) tuning
Basic understanding of CI/CD tools and practices
Basic understanding of APM tools such as Datadog, Splunk
