What does an outstanding Inventory Control Specialist do at Fiserv?
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating root cause for inventory overages and/or shortages, reviewing held locations, and working with the Inventory Control Manager to establish minimums and maximums for pick slots. This position is also responsible for validating any variances from PO receipts and system status and works closely with other members of the Inventory Control team as well as members of the Operations and Sales teams while maintaining positive business relationships with both internal and external customers.
What you will do:
- Ensure all scheduled and immediate cycle counts are performed.
- Verify inventory and maintain accuracy of bin labels.
- Perform routine aisle sweeps confirming empty locations.
- Review damage and recoups products.
- Slots new items as required.
- Must be willing to work on site, Roseville, CA
What you will need to have:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required with one year of relevant work experience with warehouse inventory.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Must be able to accurately record measurements in number, dimension, size, and weight.
What would be great to have:
- Forklift certified.
- Previous experience using RF gun, PC, and Data Terminal.
- Familiar with following the Edward Don & Company’s Standards of Conduct Policy.
