As a leader in the field, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Classified Cyber Threat Mitigation to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the future of cybersecurity for our organization.
What you'll be doing:• Lead and manage the Classified Cyber Security Operations Center (C2Ops) team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the subject matter expert guiding projects and technical investigative teams to protect a large enterprise.
• Strategize and implement technology best practices for risk mitigation associated with analysis of security operations center alerts and cases.
• Engage with internal teams and cyber/technology industry partners to ensure threats from external actors are evaluated and mitigated where appropriate.
• Collaborate with engineering and other teams to drive automation for analysis efficiency, containment, and remediation activities.
• Establishing SOC performance goals and priorities.
• Serve as the technical advisor for the Senior Director.
• Conduct thorough cyber threat assessments in conjunction with other business functions related to supply chain, software, and hardware, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders for our classified environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. CIS, SOCI, etc.) to integrate threat intelligence into business processes and risk management strategies for our classified environments.
• Develop and implement threat hunting strategies and incident response plans to proactively identify and mitigate threats for our classified environments.
• Oversee the investigation of security incidents and ensure timely response and resolution, including reporting and communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal partners, external partners, and industry groups to share threat intelligence and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements to ensure the organization remains compliant and secure.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career growth.

Basic Qualifications:• Extensive experience with SOC operations including SIEM, SOAR, threat hunting, incident investigation, endpoint protection, standard frameworks, Microsoft 365 security, and strategic planning.
• Strong knowledge of cyber threat landscape, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and threat hunting methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge in security tools and technologies, including SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Active TOP SECRET security clearance or recently active TOP SECRET clearance within 24 months with SCI eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Skills:• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
• DoD Directive 8570.1 IAM Level III or higher certification (CISSP preferred) or ability to obtain one within 90-days of start date.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Previous work within military or government security operations center(s)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
