Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be a Multi-Function Manufacturing Planning Supervisor, leading our material handling and shipping and receiving activities, including off-site warehousing. Our team is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products, while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Multi-Function Manufacturing Planning Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Supervise all receiving, material handling, and shipping and receiving activities, including off-site warehousing
• Oversee management and staffing of 5+ direct reports (hourly)
• Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, time approval, overtime distribution and recognition/disciplinary actions
• Coordinate daily activities to ensure proper coverage of tasks to meet production needs
• Manage inventory control, cycle counting, material storage/movement, and kitting activities
• Ensure safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, contracts administration, etc. in a manufacturing environment
• Conduct background checks and investigations related to AES filing
• Imports, Exports, transportation and shipping activities, including knowledge of government DD250 and DD1149 paperwork
• Coordination with DCMA

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Prior leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• SAP and APRISO experience
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance (must be a US citizen)
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite knowledge and advanced computer skills
• Inventory management experience, including cycle counting and material storage/movement
• Shipping and transportation experience
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and make necessary improvements
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• 3+ years of professional experience
Desired Skills:
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Green belt training/certification
• Ability to operate a forklift, crane, and hoist
• Background working with DCMA
• Performance Management Team experience
• Experience creating Statements of Work for services
• Able to build and maintain respectful working relationships
• Motivational skills along with the ability to energize teams
• Self-motivated, works with minimal direction, comfortable giving and receiving feedback
• Must possess excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects in different phases
• Able to implement systems that enable the workforce to understand and meet daily performance goals
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
