Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Production Equipment Maintenance Manager (Level K) to join the Production Equipment Maintenance Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Production Equipment Maintenance (PEM) Leadership Team supporting the 787 program. This position is responsible for all production equipment maintenance aspects for the 787 program as well as for partnering with the 737 inlet program.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employee activities within Production Equipment Maintenance (PEM) including equipment maintenance, repair and overhaul, preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance planning and scheduling, maintenance projects, parts ordering.

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees. Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing a team

  • 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance

  • 3+ years of experience using strong communication skills and having customer focus

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • Background in 787 Production Equipment Maintenance

  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships/partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and cross-functional teams

Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $120,650 - $139,700
