What does a successful Vice President, PMO do? In the role of Vice President, PMO and Enterprise Delivery, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of our project management office. Reporting directly to the COO, Financial Institutions Group, you are responsible for overseeing the pipeline management, execution portfolio, and reporting across various Project Services portfolios, ensuring the standardization and maturation of processes to enhance service delivery and financial outcomes. Your leadership will drive the continuous evolution of project services, process improvements, and talent optimization, ensuring Fiserv remains a leader in handling complex and high-value engagements with our clients.
What you will do:
- Manage revenue and expenses for the Financial Institutions Group project management organization, identifying levers to achieve financial targets.
- Continuously assess and implement process efficiencies to maximize resource utilization and execution controls.
- Optimize talent through coaching, education, and competency-based hiring and development.
- Oversee portfolio status and communicate updates to Fiserv Clients, Product, Account Management, and Implementations leaders, addressing issues proactively.
- Define, monitor, and respond to KPIs related to pipeline, execution portfolios, financials, and performance measures.
- Standardize and improve business practices across Project Services, covering work intake, demand management, portfolio oversight, project execution, and pre-sale estimation.
- Collaborate with peers to adopt best practices for the benefit of Project Services, Professional Services, Fiserv, and the client experience.
- Identify opportunities for cross-sales and value impact within Professional Services.
- Ensure timely resolution of escalations and exceptions.
What you will need to have:
- 15+ years of experience in financial institution solutions or related industry
- Extensive experience in large-scale project/program management environments or relevant consulting experience.
- Proven track record of driving tactical and strategic results.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, or a related discipline and/or equivalent military experience.
- Experience with implementation and support of execution activities.
- Ability to travel frequently.
