Job Summary

Comcast Business Global (CBG) focuses on designing, implementing, and managing advanced technology solutions, serving Midmarket and Enterprise customers with a portfolio of managed network, managed voice, and managed security services. This Analyst 4 is aligned with an Agile team within CBG and is responsible for project deliverables for sales support-related applications.

Job Description

This role is based in our Plano, TX office. It it not eligible for remote or virtual hire. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role now or in the future.

Core Responsibilities

  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to define the scope of a project and break it down into minimally viable deliverables
  • Works with developers to clarify requirements and keep them on course
  • Serves as a trusted resource and liaison to stakeholders and technical team
  • Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related computer systems and predicts impact of a change in assigned system.
  • May review proposals, including gathering facts, analyzing data and preparing project overview which compares alternatives in terms of cost, time, availability of equipment and personnel etc. Recommends course of action.
  • Functions as a liaison between the client, community and internal information technology and/or external software vendors to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems.
  • Interacts closely with a matrixed cross-functional team, both field and corporate, in order to secure alignment and solution excellence.
  • Creates clearly defined and mutually agreeable success metrics for each new system or process and establishes a plan to track, monitor and measure the success of those metrics.
  • Ensures data quality and integrity across data-specific application implementations.
  • Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the programs meet the requirements.
  • Leads/owns direction of the project(s) with limited guidance.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years working in the telecommunication field.

  • Extensive knowledge of network concepts such as SD-WAN and MPLS

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Able to understand and solve diverse, complex and crucial business and technical problems/requirements
  • Meet deadlines, communicate delays and clarify ambiguities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts.
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects
