What does a successful Senior Oracle PLSQL Developer do at Fiserv?
You will collaborate closely with our technology and business teams to design, develop, and maintain PLSQL code and Oracle database solutions in support of our financial services products. You will leverage your expertise to create efficient and scalable solutions, ensuring that our clients can seamlessly navigate their financial journeys. What you will do:
- Design and develop Oracle PLSQL modules and database procedures.
- Collaborate with business analysts and application developers to define and implement effective database solutions.
- Optimize and tune PLSQL code for maximum performance and efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all PLSQL code and database schemas.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
- Ensure database security and compliance with Fiserv's data management policies.
What you will need to have:
- 7+ years of experience in Oracle PLSQL development.
- 4+ years of experience in database design and optimization.
- 4+ years of experience with PL/SQL Developer or Oracle SQL Developer tools.
- 3+ years of experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 4+ years of experience with Oracle database security and compliance.
- 3+ years of experience in Agile development methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle database administration and maintenance.
- Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate (OCA) certification.
- Familiarity with financial technology products and services.
