THE WORKThe Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of flight simulators and various aircrew training devices across multiple sites. The primary focus of this role will be on Corrective and Preventive Maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will coordinate maintenance efforts, analyze performance data, and implement improvements to minimize downtime and optimize device availability. Collaborating closely with maintenance staff, vendors, and external stakeholders, the Maintenance Coordinator will guarantee that maintenance operations are both timely and effective, ultimately supporting the overall efficiency of the training devices.

Basic Qualifications:• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with maintenance personnel, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective maintenance operations, maximizing training device availability to our customers.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (including engineering, operations, and quality assurance) to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities.
• Ability to develop necessary plans, work instructions, and procedures to minimize device downtime.
• Proven ability to deliver training to technicians, developing necessary skill sets, and providing leadership that fosters motivated and positive group morale.
• Experience conducting personnel evaluations to maintain appropriate technical skill sets within the workplace.
• Ability to evaluate equipment and submit written reports to management.
• Previous experience as a simulator technician, specifically on Level D simulators.
• Current/Active CompTIA Security+ Certification (or equivalent, such as DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification or higher).
Desired Skills:• USAF simulator sustainment experience
• Experience with AFSOC ACTS Maintenance Data Collection System

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
