Job Summary The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience. The CONNECT organization is a highly agile, fast paced, and dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best in class, most reliable access network for our customers. About the Team: Logistics, Asset Management & Staging (LAS) is a team of Logistics Representatives and Network Engineers that provide support to 30 Organizations within Comcast’s footprint. The team is made up of a diverse group of people that appreciate taking on new challenges and working hard to achieve their goals.Job Description
The logistics team is responsible for daily receiving, shipping, inventory control of new and old assets for 30 CIFA entities across Comcast’s footprint. We utilize Filemaker Pro for asset management and our workflow process of all assets inbound and outbound of the Bellmawr facility. Our vision is to best in class Logistics team on the planet. For our stakeholders, the goal is to support rapid business growth and service delivery with excellent execution.
Core Responsibilities
Handle any equipment damage claims with shipping carriers and vendors
Coordinate closely with Deployment Engineering on equipment deployment requests
Oversee Bellmawr inventory accuracy and accountability through daily cycle counts
Work with shipping vendors to streamline processes and reconcile all insurance damage claims and freight invoices for equipment shipping to and from the Bellmawr Facility
Assemble or dissemble hardware as needed to properly ship as required by Deployment Engineering specifications
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills and Experience We're Looking For:
1-4 years of experience in shipping/receiving and logistics management within the telecommunications or electronics industry
Understands the differences in capabilities and limitations of freight carriers, logistics companies, and parcel carriers
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to lift over 70 pounds repetitively
Forklift certification a plus
Ability to multi-task, yet focus on specific projects, meeting established deadlines
