Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Cyber Training Developer who can effectively use technical skills, creativity, and experience to collect, manage, and publish instructional material content, and recommend courseware solutions that align and support the customer needs to join our team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Security Operations Center (SOC). The DHS/CBP SOC is a US Government program responsible to prevent, identify, contain and eradicate cyber threats to CBP networks through monitoring, intrusion detection and protective security services to CBP information systems including local area networks/wide area networks (LAN/WAN), commercial Internet connection, public facing websites, wireless, mobile/cellular, cloud, security devices, servers and workstations. The CBP SOC is responsible for the overall security of CBP Enterprise-wide information systems, and collects, investigates, and reports any suspected and confirmed security violations.
Primary Responsibilities
Engage in regular and ad hoc communications with stakeholders and end users, such as email, training support inquiries, and other in-person or written communications.
Develop Cybersecurity Training, provide instructional design and subject matter expertise on blended training, e-learning development (including online training development and administration) using Government provided tools, (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Adobe Pro, Adobe Premiere Rush, KnowBe4, Learning Management System (LMS)
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science) or equivalent experience. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in training development, instructional design, and delivery methods, preferably in a technical or IT-related field.
Training Development Experience: Familiarity with content development authoring and multimedia development tools/programs (e.g., Camtasia, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.). Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), course deployment and administration.
Experience drafting IT, cybersecurity, or related technical documentation using federal government, particularly DHS, official document requirements and style guides.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
