Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Transportation Analyst to support Global Warehousing and Logistics located at Sea Tac, WA.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options
Responsibilities:
Provides support for the development of the statement of work to secure cost-effective transportation services.
Analyzes carrier performance data for cycle time, costs and business process review.
Applies knowledge of logistics and transportation methodologies in support of organizational objectives.
Prepares documentation to support routing and logistics functional requirements.
Participates on enterprise-wide and cross-functional teams defining export control programs.
Interfaces with internal/external compliance organizations and responds to Customs and Border Protection inquiries for export control issues to ensure compliance with export regulations, federal regulations, Foreign Trade
Regulations and the Boeing Compliance Offices.
Certifies the shipment of dangerous goods.
Investigates loss and damage claims to carriers.
Designs transportation plans and solutions.
Provides program managers with the development of transportation plans.
Identifies requirements and business rules for third party freight audit and payment provider to ensure compliance
Shift to be determined based on customer need
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.§120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum 3 years experience in domestic and international supply chain logistics operations
3 years experience and knowledge of US export regulatory compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Previous experience operating in SAP Software
Previous handling of Hazardous Material shipment is desirable
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: 61,200 - 82,800
