The WorkAs a Facilities Electrician Maintenance Specialist, your core responsibility will be managing the daily and long-term maintenance of the building's electrical infrastructure and systems.
This includes troubleshooting and repairing equipment, performing preventative and corrective/reactive maintenance, and using condition monitoring techniques to implement predictive maintenance strategies.
Your responsibilities will cover a variety of systems, including but not limited to electrical infrastructure, security systems, telecommunications, fire alarms, HVAC equipment, and Central Utility Plant (CUP) systems such as boilers and chillers.
You will also be involved with facilities maintenance, including plumbing and general upkeep of site equipment.
In addition, you'll be driving projects to improve equipment capabilities and ensure systems support site operations and customer needs effectively.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government DoD clearance at the Secret level.

Who You AreYou are a highly skilled and proactive electrical technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction and maintenance. You possess advanced electrical knowledge, especially in a facilities environment, and are well-versed in predictive maintenance strategies, root cause analysis, and Reliability Centered Maintenance practices. You are flexible, willing to work various shifts and schedules as needed to meet the demands of the facility. You have a strong ability to troubleshoot, work independently, and collaborate with vendors and other teams to resolve complex system issues. Knowledge of Electrical Systems: Understanding wiring, circuits, and electrical codes and regulations is crucial.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
Experience with predictive maintenance strategies, root cause analysis, and Reliability Centered Maintenance practices.
Flexibility to work multiple shifts or schedules as Facilities and equipment needs dictate.
Tool Proficiency: Competence in using hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, drills, and multimeters.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government DoD clearance at the Secret level.
Desired Skills:Experience with all types of commercial/industrial electrical construction, installations, maintenance/repairs, troubleshooting, service, and operations.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills are essential for diagnosing and fixing electrical issues.
Knowledge of building automation, HVAC/electrical controls, experience with security/badge reader systems, experience with CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) software with ability to plan, prioritize, and execute work independently and as part of a team.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
