Job Responsibilities
Description:As an Operations Systems Applications Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for the planning, development, testing, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies to address complex manufacturing challenges and drive the next generation of Manufacturing Systems. You will play a key role in analyzing production operations systems, identifying digital transformation opportunities, and implementing cutting-edge solutions to enhance fabrication and assembly processes.
What You Will Be Doing:
Advanced Manufacturing Technology Development:
Investigate and assess technical capabilities of production operations systems.
Stay up to date on emerging software and digital tools to optimize fabrication and assembly processes.
Develop and integrate new production workflows within existing operational frameworks.
Manufacturing Digital Transformation & IT Coordination:
Analyze customer challenges and design capability solutions to enable manufacturing digital transformation.
Work closely with information technology architects to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
Present solutions to functional core process owners and leadership.
Project Execution & Technical Leadership:
Lead and support the execution of major projects, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
Function in a technical project management role, managing schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
Collaborate with senior personnel and leadership on critical technical matters requiring cross-functional coordination.
Production Operations & Business Process Optimization:
Play a key role in a cross-organizational team of experts supporting the implementation of Siemens Xcelerator and Dassault 3DX tool suites.
Participate in the development, documentation, testing, training, and deployment of new Production Operations Business Processes associated with the implementation of Xcelerator and 3DX tools.

Basic Qualifications:
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) manufacturing applications with experience in a broad range of operations applications and workflows
• Experience in manufacturing systems, business processes, and methods
Desired Skills:
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM, TeamCenter or 3DX)
• Working knowledge of Design systems (Siemens Xcelerator and Dassault 3DX) and their manufacturing applications
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) manufacturing applications with experience in Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), Process Plan, Condition of Supply, Tooling, Configuration Management, and/or Workflow processes
• Experience in Aeronautical manufacturing systems, business processes, and methods with the ability to utilize that knowledge in developing a digital manufacturing system.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a semi-virtual team.
• Experience working with PLM, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing
• Execution Systems (MES) and the related integrations between these systems
• Experience in the following:
o Process development across multiple systems
o Model Based Engineering
o Digital Transformation
o CATIA / 3DX / DELMIA
o Teamcenter / Xcelerator
o Quality Center (HPQC)
o Documenting business processes
o Documenting training requirements
o Providing end user training and support
o Authoring requirements specifications
o Manufacturing / Quality / Planning functional end user
o Defect management

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
