Job Summary:
Responsible for the proactive leadership of the Large Project Review (LPR) Process in the North America Region. Provides project development and management expertise for large controls, commercial HVAC energy services solutions, and turnkey business streams, as part of a larger $1.5B global contracting organization. Facilitates the development of contracting fulfillment associates through competency-based training, teamwork, and balanced feedback.

What you will do:
- Process Leader for qualifying LPR Projects, coordinate with North America and Regional Contracting Leadership to:
- Lead the review of contract project scope of work and execution plan development.
- Lead the review and evaluation of subcontractor proposals following RFQ process for assigned projects.
- Lead the assembly of a project team’s internal and external resource personnel.
- Lead the review of estimates by performing risk analysis and developing risk management and mitigation plans.
- Provide review of content and structuring for Customer and Subcontractor contracts
- Lead the verification and review of the validation process associated with transition to fulfillment from Acquisition (estimate, schedule, and scope definition).
- Facilitate the subcontractor "buy-out” process and contract awarding to qualified subcontractors and engineers.
- Lead the development and facilitate the implementation of project management corrective actions and direction for “off track” projects.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting data for all qualifying LPR projects.
- Track, document, and report margin variation. Develop strategies for mitigating margin erosion and cost variance impacts.
- Provide monthly report to key stakeholders outlining the statuses of all projects within the Process.
- Demonstrated contracting financial acumen required.
- Proven ability to lead strategic and tactical meetings with diverse stakeholder groups including executive and regional leadership, technical experts, project management, and administrative functions.
- Project Management Excellence Coach and Mentor:
- Support development and training initiatives for Region Contracting Solutions Managers (CSMs); Area Contracting Managers (ACMs); and project managers.
- Support existing format for evaluating the contracting fulfillment abilities of project managers within Americas Contracting Operations Team and support development and deployment across North America.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain peer-level relationships with CSMs.
- Develop and maintain mentoring programs with CSMs for Project Management personnel.
- Drive corrective action and improvements in contracting operations in less mature or underperforming Regions in coordination with Energy Services CSL
- Collaborate with America’s Energy Services CSL and Regional Contracting Leadership Teams to assess, develop, hire, and retain key talent.
- Serve as a role model in consistently using and advocating company standards, processes, and tools.
What you will bring:
- Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience is required
- 5-10 years experience in contracting business highly desirable.
- 5-10 years experience highly desirable in (1) managing a P&L business, and (2) process design/development.
- Travel required.
- Ability to meet short-and long-term deadlines, work regularly and dependably, thrive in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament, and perform mental tasks such as making decisions, learning, thinking rationally and exercising good judgment
- Ability to communicate with others both written and orally, including the telephone. Mobility within the work facility. Ability to travel independently.
Compensation Range:$120,000 - $200,000 annually, which includes an incentive plan. This range is based on US National Averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, or geographic location where the work is performed.
