Position Summary:
We are currently seeking Senior Engineers possessing software development, communications theory, radar, electromagnetics, or RF and Satellite experience to join our team in Dayton, OH. We are seeking applicants who can help deliver innovative solutions and work in an environment that encourages agile, mission-driven approaches that deliver valuable results through efficient means to their customers. The ideal applicant will possess a strong RF background and software development capabilities and has extensive knowledge of GNSS and PNT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Advisory: As a Sr. Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance in the creation of new lab capabilities.
- Collaboration: Interfacing and communicating clearly with customers and co-workers.
- Multidiscipline Engineering: Performing multi-disciplined engineering and analysis primarily in the areas of Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT), Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Communications, electromagnetics, radar, signal propagation theory, or electronics. The types of activities supported include scenario development, simulation, static lab testing, hardware-in-the-loop testing, data processing.
- Provide Direction: Providing direction for problem definition, analysis, constraint development and implementation for complex systems required to meet technical requirements. Activities include making recommendations and advising on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
- Risk Assessment & Analysis: Performing risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.
- Technical Assistance & Instruction: Providing technical assistance and instruction relative to design problems and the resolution of construction or operating difficulties.
- Project Requirements Analysis: Analyzing project requirements and provides information and instruction for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, designing, and modifying equipment as appropriate.
- System Functional Analysis: Performing functional analysis of a system to ensure it meets performance criteria and mission constraints and to feed the analysis results back to the subsystem development teams.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM degree program.
- Professional Experience: Prior experience providing technical assessments and advisory recommendations Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and organized written communications skills.
Desired:
- Professional Experience: 20 years or more years of related work experience.
- Education: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM degree program. Validation of exhaustive test bench matrices.
- Advisory Ability: Ability to provide advisory recommendations when developing new lab capabilities. Demonstrated ability to work productively with team members, external partners, diverse organizations across multiple engineering domains.
- Ability to Obtain Solution Intelligence: Obtains conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.
