Job Summary
Will provide warehouse/logistics support to the Integrated Fires/Rapid Capabilities Office (IF/RCO) Distribution Center, including but not limited to the following:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and support day-to-day operations for a Government warehouse
- Coordinate equipment/parts accounting, materials processing, storage, and repair/return activities
- Schedule, coordinate, and monitor shipments of equipment to/from CONUS and OCONUS locations
- Analyze requirements and develop recommendations concerning logistics plans and supply programs
- Operate supply accountability systems, upload inventory information to IUID registers, and utilize RFID technologies
- Perform detailed planning for and assist in the loading and offloading of equipment onto military aircraft, as required
- Position will primarily support Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS), but the selected candidate will be expected to cross train and effectively support all other programs under the C-RAM umbrella when needed
Must be able to work well in group settings, as much of the work will be in two-person teams. Physical requirements include the ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with some two man carry requirements. Work will primarily be performed in Government warehouse facilities, military airfields, Government test sites, equipment storage yards, and office facilities, but some work may be performed in inclement weather conditions. Will be required to travel to other locations for support of testing and equipment inventories.
Type of Experience Required: Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a warehouse and/or professional setting. Must have extensive experience using Microsoft Office and Department of Defense inventory management databases, including Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), and Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS).
Type of Experience Preferred: Experience with program management, logistics, IUID, RFID, kitting, and configuration management is highly desired. Experience with the Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) preventative maintenance checks and services as our equipment is stored and returned. Experience with equipment turn-in procedures to Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO) is desired. Existing HAZMAT certification is highly desired.
