Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business is looking for an Experienced Contracts Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join our team in Chandler, AZ or Long Beach, CA
Position Summary:
Sources and establishes Long Term Agreements on aerospace fasteners and parts. Compiles and analyzes data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Compile information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Confers with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Review proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records. Prepares bid packages and negotiates Long Term Agreements.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver on savings and inventory requirements as per the commodity and business strategies.
Conduct market analysis and implement long term agreements in accordance with business strategies to deliver on savings and inventory requirements. Uses business analysis to determine if orders need to be placed to meet global procurement requirements.
Develop Contract Bid Packages, select suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, and establishes Long Term Contracts..
Work closely with Sales department on customer requests and requirements to determine best course of action. Works cross functionally and with suppliers on payment issue resolution.
Perform supply planning by evaluating inventory levels, safety stock, validating forecast, and selecting approved suppliers to determine investment strategy. Works cross functionally and with suppliers on payment issue resolution. Also collaborates with Quality department on defective or unacceptable goods and determine appropriate course of action. Complete actions as necessary to resolve issues.
Prepare and negotiate packages with suppliers to drive increased savings opportunities. Execution of strategic initiatives and development of new opportunities.
Assist in development of Commodity Sourcing Strategies
Maintain awareness and understanding of department key deliverables and how buying decisions impact those deliverables.
Provides expertise on business process and continuous improvement. Trains other team members
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Chandler, AZ or Long Beach, CA
Export Control:
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, if applicable.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
6 or more years of related work experience
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System experience.
Advanced negotiations skills
Intermediate analytical skills
Professional/interpersonal verbal & written communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency
Basic presentation skills
Advanced commodity / product knowledge
Experience with cost modeling / Cost driver structure
General knowledge of Aerospace compliance and regulations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study
6 to 8 years of related work experience preferred
APICS Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM), preferred
Experience in distribution business process
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $62,000 - $88,000
