Where is the work:
This position has been designated as On-Site at our Klinge Corporation location.
When is the work:
This full-time position has a regular work schedule of Monday thru Thursday from 5:30 am to 4 pm with optional Overtime on Fridays.
What you will do:
The Production Utility serves as a 'go to' employee to supplement the Production workforce within any team as necessitated by business need, staffing and other factors.
The Production Utility will have a high level of functional competency as a Reefer Assembler with Brazing, Electrical Assembler II, and as a Welder and/or Fabricator.
Reefer with Brazing Work:
·Assemble and install refrigeration system components such as compressors, motors, blowers, fans, coils, electric components and associated wiring, support braces, and other brackets.
·Apply caulk, foam, and Sikaflex as necessary to assemblies.
·Brazing of components during assembly.
·Maintain a high level of workplace organization.
·Complete unit traveler paperwork
·Work with Supervisor and others to develop work instructions and procedures.
·Meet customers' product quality requirements. Report any product quality issues.
·Strict adherence to Quality manual and standards, safety and corporate policies, standards rules of Conduct and procedures.
·Contribute to continuous improvement.
·Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
·Perform any related functions as required.
Electrical Work:
-
Ability to use assembly drawings to produce cables, control boxes, sub panels and wire lists.
· Use assembly drawings to produce cables, control boxes, sub panels and wire lists.
· Measure and cut cables correctly per drawing dimensions and specifications.
· Termination and stamping of wires per specifications.
· Stripping cable jackets and wires per specifications.
· Operation of and maintenance of small hand tools assigned.
· Maintain a high level of workplace organization.
· Work with Supervisor and others to develop work instructions and procedures.
· Meet customers' product quality requirements. Report any product quality issues as soon as identified.
· Maintain strict adherence to Quality manual and standards, safety and corporate policies, standard rules of Conduct and procedures.
· Contribute to continuous improvement.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Perform any related functions as required.
Welding/Fabrication Work:
- Read blueprints and drawings and align components using tape measures, squares, clamps & etc. to plan layout and welding procedure.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications and determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Operate and maintain electrical and hand tools equipment (Including saws, squares, grinders & etc.).
- Maintain a high level of workplace organization and maintain equipment for a clean safe work environment.
- Be detail oriented and take pride in the work that you do
- Perform any Welding related functions as required.
- Work with Supervisor and others to develop work instructions and procedures.
- Meet customers' product quality requirements. Report any product quality issues.
- Strict adherence to Quality manual and standards, safety and corporate policies, standard rules of Conduct and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement.

- Perform any related functions as required.
What you will bring:
- Have at least 5 years welding job experience.
- Have demonstrable proficiency in both MIG & TIG welding.

- Have a High School Diploma or the skill equivalent.
Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand and walk continuously
* Ability to lift and carry 25+ pounds frequently.
·Ability to use arms to reach above the should and bend below to the floor level occasionally.
·Ability to use legs to climb ladders up to 10 feet occasionally.
·Ability to use arms to bend, twist, reach above the shoulder frequently and bend below to the floor level occasionally.
·Ability to be around moving machinery and equipment continuously.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: Base hourly rate is determined at time of interview skills assessment of specific skill delineators prior to offer.
Total compensation for this role will include a local KPI incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
