As the Casual Project Specialist Sr, you will:
• Advise engineering technician on the utilization of special or general-purpose test equipment, tools, optical aids and other techniques during troubleshooting, maintenance and equipment repair process as needed.
• Assist system engineers by leveraging practical and technical knowledge with assigned equipment and systems to advise on design and development work.
• Document equipment maintenance using electronic documentation tools and performs upgrades as directed from site configuration management or supervisor.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to team members to support their development and growth.
• Contact subject matter experts, engineering agencies and others as needed for assistance in connection with RI equipment assignments including but not limited to maintenance requirements, fault investigation and troubleshooting.
**This is a Casual position. Hours worked not to exceed 999 hours within a year**

Basic Qualifications:• Experience with operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing system upgrades to radar systems
• Ability with researching technical manuals, specifications, and drawings in support of developmental testing
• Experience with Radar maintenance and test procedures desired. Training and experience with Radar Systems specifically Signal Processor and Phased Array Antenna
• 5 years of experience as a technician or similar role
Desired Skills:• Experience with the Space Fence ITB facility.
• Ability to adapt current skills, knowledge, and experience to evolving technology
• Experience or familiarity with Linux/Red Hat (RHEL) operating system
• Proficient in the use of advanced electronic test equipment: Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, and Power Meters
• Strong written and verbal skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively both individually and collaboratively

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
