A successful candidate will be a self-starter who understands the importance of collaboration. This position will be responsible for providing advanced analytical insights to customers around the globe.
Position Responsibilities:
Measures and assesses flight safety risk by analyzing very large sets of recorded flight data.
Generates and communicates advanced analytical insights to both internal and external customers in an easily digestible and actionable manner.
Works directly with customers and stakeholders to scope analytical projects, obtain relevant data, validate findings, seek alignment, and share results.
Performs root cause analysis, including the identification of contributing threats and errors, so that analytical insights are understood well enough to be actioned and risk mitigated.
Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
Ensures customer commitments and service levels are achieved or exceeded.
Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders and peers.
Maintain SME level awareness of several of Boeing’s digital products.
Some global travel will be required.
Demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable way.
This is an individual contributor role managing analysis and customer partnership.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of five years Aeronautical experience including: Aerospace engineering background, flight deck operations, piloting, commercial airline operations, or military flight operations.
Minimum of five years big-data analytical experience.
Strong presentation skills to executive level audience.
Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
Candidate must be able to support our global customer base with a flexible work schedule which may include late or early meetings.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience with data mining and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with flight safety programs such as Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) / Flight Data Monitoring (FDM).
Piloting or reliability engineering experience.
Familiarity with aircraft recorded flight data.
