We are seeking skilled Equipment & Tool Engineers (Levels 2, 3, or 4) to support fabrication operations across Boeing South Carolina’s North Campus sites (IRCSC, FSCA, PSC, BR&T & EOSC). This role is part of a cross-functional tooling team responsible for designing, analyzing, modifying, and maintaining equipment and tooling to optimize manufacturing processes.
The primary reporting location will be the IRCSC (9775 Patriot Blvd, Ladson) with 20% travel to Orangeburg and the airport campus.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluates program and project requirements, develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
- Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates, identifies robotics, automation or technology recommendations and system integration for equipment and tooling.
- Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
- Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.
- Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel.
- Develops and implements work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation.
- Performs studies and make recommendation for disposition of assets.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry. ABET accreditation is preferred, but not required.
- 2 or more years’ experience with Tooling design, analysis, modifications and/or reliability.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Familiar with CATIA V5 or other CAD software
- General understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
- Familiarity with maintenance planning, asset lifecycle management or Boeing procurement processes.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Associate Level: $76,500 - $103,500
Mid-Level: $90,100 - $121,900
Senior Level: $110,500 - $149,500
