The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Learning and Development (L&D) Digital Ecosystem Senior Manager to join their team in Seattle, WA, Berkeley or Hazelwood, MO. This role is responsible for developing the technology strategy and infrastructure that delivers a seamless frustration-free for Boeing employees worldwide. This role involves managing L&D's digital ecosystem strategy in collaboration with Human Resources (HR) Services and Information Technology (IT), which includes designing, developing, and enhancing L&D platforms, creating a 3-year product feature roadmap, and driving continuous improvements to utilize technological advancements effectively.
A successful candidate will engage thoughtfully with internal and external stakeholders, including L&D team members, end-users, and third-party suppliers. They will have experience in creating technology-enabled skills enhancement strategies, developing learner personas and journey maps, and managing user experience design and testing to inform learning technology decisions and facilitate rapid product improvements.
The key focus areas for this position include advancing innovative digital learning platforms and tools, utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics to improve learning outcomes, and ensuring a strong IT and security infrastructure to support smooth operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and execute innovative digital learning ecosystem strategies aligned with business needs and end-user requirements
Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative learning technologies and platforms to support diverse learning needs
Oversee systems like LMS (currently MyLearning), LXP (Degreed), and enterprise IT platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365) to ensure scalability, security, and reliability
Implement data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with global data privacy, security, and risk management standards
Utilize learning analytics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes
Develop reports and dashboards
Train and support staff, faculty, and customers in adopting new technologies, while gathering feedback to align strategies with user needs
Lead a team of technology specialists, foster a culture of excellence, and manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with organizational priorities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience conducting a learning needs analysis, developing a learning plan, and applying the knowledge to establish learning material
5+ years of experience in the Learning and Development profession
5+ years of experience managing metrics to drive data driven solutions/decisions
5+ years of experience leading the development, design, implementation and integration of global Learning Solutions (e.g. - Learning Management System, Learning Content Management System or collaborative learning systems)
3+ years of experience managing direct reports; growing their careers, and creating high performing teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience leading in rapidly evolving environments, with a strong understanding of trends in education, AI, and digital learning
Experience with LMS/LXP technology like MyLearning, Workday Learn, Degreed, and enterprise IT systems (Microsoft Office 365)
Experience aligning technology strategies with organizational goals in professional services or educational settings
Experience in LMS implementation, managing IT infrastructure, ensuring security, and optimizing system performance for global organizations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams and with external partners
Experience influencing without direct control and demonstrating developed decision-making capability including negotiation and collaboration skills
Creative thinker with experience designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions in digital learning and technology management
Experience proactively solving problems to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Summary pay range: $135,150 - $195,500
