The Boeing Global Services, Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the MH-139 Greywolf Program. The Systems Engineer will evaluate proposed changes to the entire support system, establish their effectiveness, and facilitate the effective incorporation of changes, modifications and updates. The BGS Systems Engineer will provide technical integration support throughout the product lifecycle from acquisition through execution. During the acquisition phase, the Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership across BGS by authoring technical approaches, leading technical discussions, leading proposal bill of material development, supporting technical teams in estimating, and supporting negotiations. During execution, the Systems Engineer will manage and track requirements across the elements of Integrated Product Support. The Systems Engineer defines product support requirements and then schedules, assigns tasks, and monitors completion of validation and verification of the requirements. The BGS Systems Engineer will also lead continuous improvement activities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Identify impact of aircraft configuration changes on product support elements
- Provide technical oversight and integration during campaign and execution
- Communicate technical information at multiple levels in engineering management, sustainment engineering functions, program management, proposal management, contracts, and supply chain.
- Support design and gate reviews
- Manage sustainment requirements
- Apply Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) in project development and execution
- Ensure customer commitments are understood, documented, communicated, and delivered on-time with first-time quality.
- Perform timely root cause corrective action (RCCA) to strive for first-time quality
- Identify, record and track risks, issues, and opportunities (RIOs).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience in a role that required detailed knowledge of systems engineering principles to solve engineering problems, create process-driven documentation, write and derive formal requirements, manage project requirements, and produce task schedules
- Experience with military aircraft sustainment products and services
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.) (Level 5)
- Experience providing technical integration across multiple sustainment engineering teams
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple Integrated Product Teams (I.e. production engineering, sustainment engineering, program management, modification team, and/or finance) and business units
- Experience with Military Commercial Derivative Aircraft programs and/or policy
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) analyses
- Experience developing integrated plans and schedules
- Experience with Earned Value Management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range (Level 4): $128,350- $173,650
Summary Pay Range (Level 5): $157,250- $212,750
