The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Global Engineering & Operations Production Engineering organization is looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer to join the Industrial Engineering Team in Jacksonville, FL.
In this exciting but challenging role, the selected candidate will support maintenance, modification and upgrades of various programs while working with a cross functional team to analyze productivity, recommend resource allocations and implement lean solutions to optimize the production system.
The selected candidate will be required to perform work 100% onsite at Jacksonville, FL.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serving as site lead Industrial Engineer. Requires the ability to collaborate across teams such as operations, program, and engineering functions.
- Knowledge and application of industrial engineering principles to analyze and implement manufacturing processes and methods.
- Ability to adjust effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or cultures.
- Partnership with all key functions (Quality, Supplier Chain, Production Control, Engineering, BR&T, IT, etc.)
- Uses appropriate methods to identify opportunities, implements solutions, and measure impact.
- Possess knowledge of hardware and software components which, when properly integrated, enable a specific process to be realized.
- Work within and/or across programs, organizations or manufacturing business units where necessary
- Demonstrate the use of information-gathering techniques, analyzing situations and identifying implications in order to make correct decisions.
- Understands the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the organization, including the impact of change in one or more areas.
- Skills and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data.
- STRONG project management skills and experience
- Ability to apply advanced knowledge of modeling techniques (e.g., mathematical modeling, simulation, design of experiments, operations research) to analyze a system.
- Ability to create project schedules to identify overall timeframe for project activities to meet the defined project objectives (to include major milestones), identify resource requirements for projects, and manage those resources throughout the project life cycle.
- Guides the successful completion of aspects of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
- Assists in identification, evaluation and documenting computing system requirements
- Designs, builds and tests delivery systems and components.
- Evaluates product usability, affordability, functionality, security and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience in the field of Lean Manufacturing
- 5+ years of experience of Industrial Engineering experience
- 5+ years’ experience in applying advanced knowledge of modeling techniques (e.g., mathematical modeling, simulation, design of experiments, operations research) to analyze a system
- 5+ years’ experience in project management and leading cross functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.) (Level 5)
- 5+ years of experience utilizing production engineering principles
- 3+ years of experience working in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environment
- 3+ years of experience in partnering with all key functions in an integrator/lead role
- 1+ year of experience with Tableau, Tableau Server, or SQL
- 1+ year of experience with Aurora

Summary Pay Range (Level 4): $102,850- $139,150
Summary Pay Range (Level 5): $127,500- $172,500
