What does a successful Program Director do at Fiserv?
The Program Director for the modernization of Output Solutions applications at Fiserv is a critical leadership role, instrumental in driving our strategic multi-million-dollar initiative aimed at transforming and enhancing our output solutions capabilities. You will utilize your expertise in risk management, stakeholder management, and overall program management skills to drive complex projects from inception to completion. You will be leading a team of project managers to develop standardized processes, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance to align the program's objectives with Fiserv’s strategic goals.
What you will do:
- Manage budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with program goals
- Oversee and manage complex projects from inception to completion
- Facilitate clear communication and issue resolution across project teams and executive level stakeholders
- Coach and mentor project managers and team members to cultivate a high-performing and motivated team
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement standardized processes for program management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery and operational efficiencies
- Develop and present progress reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in program management, ideally within the financial technology sector
- 8+ years of experience in managing large-scale programs with complex deliverables
- 8+ years with project management tools and methodologies, budget management tools and presenting financial metrics
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or a similar credential
- 8+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a global setting
- Experience in the fintech industry, particularly in digital transformation projects
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Master's degree in business administration or a related field
