Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). Job Summary

Intern Cable Technicians are responsible for assisting in the installation and troubleshooting of cables, satellite systems, and internet systems in the work place. While specific duties can vary depending on the type of systems they work with (i.e., cable television, digital phone line, internet, etc.)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, responsible for supporting telecommunications network infrastructure.

• Assists in the design, installation, and maintenance of wiring topologies for local and wide area networks.

• Helps with the installation and de-installation of cable support systems and work area outlets, pulls cable, and repairs related hardware.

• Assisting in troubleshooting and repairing cable system infrastructure

• Supporting the upgrade of existing cable and internet systems

• Participating in cable system maintenance activities

• Help follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and they are satisfied with the service.

• Collaborating with senior technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently

• Keeping work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained

• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

• Enrolled in any College/University in Kosovo, Computer Science program.

• Proficient in English Language

• On the 2nd or 3rd year of Study

• A National or Legal Resident of Kosovo.

• Verifiable college enrollment with GPA and current year of study

• Team player

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

• Previous experience in IT/COMMO or a related field.
