Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s IT Service Delivery and Relationship Management s Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Manufacturing Data Support Analyst
The primary responsibility of this role is to Deliver targeted training and mentorship in Power Platforms, data analytics, and related technical solutions, collaborating with teams to understand data needs, translate them for IT, and enable seamless access to and utilization of data across the organization.
Reporting to the Shop Engagement Manager the person in this role will support the IT Service Delivery and Relationship Management department's objective to equip manufacturing teams with the resources needed to confidently develop and deploy digital solutions on the shop floor.
What you’ll be doing
Lead workshops, training sessions, and mentoring on Power Platform tools, ensuring skill development and building confidence in data utilization.
Work closely with the regional data & IIOT teams to translate business data needs into IT requirements, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical capabilities.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop and continuously improve Power Platforms adoption and related training programs, adapting to evolving business requirements.
Use Confluence and Jira to track and manage data access requests, submitting tickets and ensuring timely progress while serving as the primary point of contact between One Tech and the gemba team.
Enforce established data access standards and security protocols, ensuring proper data handling and compliance while training users on data access rights and limitations.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in a data, engineering, or related technical field; Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Power Platform tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
Experience with databases (e.g., SQL) and familiarity with APIs and authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth2)
Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and promote knowledge sharing.
Proven experience in developing and continuously improving technical solutions for a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with cloud platforms and their integration with Power BI and other data analytics tools
Strong ability to coordinate data access and integration strategies, with meticulous documentation and oversight
Added bonus if you have
Experience in web development technologies, such as C#, HTML, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular)
Familiarity with agile methodologies and their application in training development.
Experience in implementing advanced data analytics techniques and deriving actionable insights.
