Boeing Supplier Quality is currently looking for a Supplier Quality Specialist to join their team in Bangalore, India.  This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization.

This is a field representative position responsible for supporting suppliers in Bangalore, India as Supplier Quality Representative. This position may also need to support Boeing suppliers in Nagpur on a long-term basis as need arises. Also, additional travel may be required to support suppliers throughout India and Asia Pacific Region. The position will require a highly self-motivated individual, capable of being self-directed with minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

• Support duties and responsibilities assigned by management related supplier quality job profile.

• Involve in the development of Boeing India supply base thru trainings and close collaboration with supplier partners in Aerospace QMS and Boeing requirements.

• Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products. Documents and reports audit and assessment results.

• Monitor and report supplier quality related performance status for the supply base.

• Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements. Perform assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.

• Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives. Resolves routine issues and concerns.

• Position requires the implementation of supplier quality management processes including assessment of supplier capability, capacity and management of supplier performance in the technical areas of quality, schedule, performance and work statement compliance.

• Maintain quality, stability and flow for multiple programs in a fast paced and challenging environment from the supplier quality side and work cross-functionally with many different job disciplines at supplier/customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering.

• 10-15 years of relevant experience.

• Detailed knowledge and experience in APQP/manufacturing/inspection in airplane programs.

• Knowledge in GD&T.

• Experience in Aerospace Supplier Quality.

• Experience in Aero structure, Aircraft systems, Machining, composites, Tooling in the quality /Manufacturing function.

• Excellent knowledge and experience in dealing with Aerospace products related manufacturing/assembly processes, inspection, testing etc.

• The position will require a willingness to facilitate and attend extra hours conference calls, working in shifts as part of a global team, etc. Excellent English language skills are essential.

• Candidate must meet the requirements of Boeing Visual Standards for Product Acceptance, tested annually.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work experience in aerospace manufacturing environment involving commodities and processes namely Aero structural assembly, composites, special process, aero structure tooling, wire assemblies, tubes, ducts, hoses etc.

• Proficiency/certification in GD&T are desired.
