Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Manager, Training SAP S/4 will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training strategies for the SAP S4/Hana implementation. This role will focus on designing and delivering engaging training content, as well as leading change management efforts to ensure user adoption and smooth transitions throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, training delivery, and change management, with hands-on experience using authoring tools such as Enable Now, Articulate, and Storyline.
Responsibilities:
- Training Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement training plans tailored to various user groups and their specific needs related to SAP S4/Hana.
- Collaborate with project managers, change leaders, SAP, System Integrator and stakeholders to ensure training strategies align with the overall project goals and objectives.
- Instructional Design and Content Creation:
- Design and develop engaging, high-quality training materials using authoring tools like Enable Now, Articulate, and Storyline.
- Create a variety of training resources, including eLearning modules, instructor-led materials, job aids, quick reference guides, and video tutorials.
- Continuously review and improve training content to ensure it’s relevant, accurate, and user-friendly.
- Training Delivery:
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and webinars, ensuring participants are well-prepared for SAP S4/Hana adoption.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to address individual or team-specific training needs.
- Efficiency and effectiveness: create optimal balance between classroom and remote training
- Facilitate discussions and Q&A sessions to ensure clarity and understanding of complex concepts.
- Change Management Support:
- Assist with change management activities by helping employees adjust to new systems, processes, and technologies.
- Develop and deliver materials that address the impact of SAP S4/Hana on job functions and business processes.
- Monitor training feedback and engagement to ensure the successful adoption of SAP S4/Hana.
- User Adoption and Support:
- Implement strategies to drive user engagement and adoption of new tools and processes.
- Provide ongoing support post-training and go-live to address any challenges employees face during the transition.
- Conduct follow-up sessions to reinforce key concepts and ensure continuous learning.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track training progress and effectiveness using metrics such as completion rates, test scores, and user feedback.
- Report on training outcomes and make recommendations for improvements based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, training development or related roles, preferably within large organizations undergoing system implementations like SAP S4/Hana.
- Expertise in using authoring tools such as Enable Now, Articulate, Storyline, or similar software.
- Experience designing and delivering training content for complex software implementations, particularly ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and eLearning development.
- Hands-on experience with managing training schedules, resources, and logistics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
- This role may require occasional travel to various NBCU locations or project sites.
Desired Characteristics:
- Certifications in Change Management or Instructional Design.
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office, in New York, NY, a minimum of three days per week.
