KBR is seeking a Digital Engineering Transformation Lead to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This effort is in direct support of a US Space Industry Prime Partner in the Chantilly, VA area.
The Digital Engineering Transformation Lead will be a hands-on leader within and across KBR’s Program Systems Engineering (SE) Integrated Team to deliver 100% on-target success of both top-down DE Culture Transformation objectives and hands-on DE taskings. Domain knowledge and executional focus areas include Space and Ground SE and Lifecycle Management fundamentals. DE/DEE including MBSE foundational principles to include processes and standards; [space and ground] mission, systems, and lifecycle development phase-tailored applications, tools, techniques of DE/MBSE. This role will deliver and maximize Enterprise-wide efficiency, interconnectivity, and re-use within DEE-centric mission architecture, design data, and organizational knowledge management systems.
Reporting to the Program Manager, this Leader is fully empowered to execute critical facets of the contract - including but not limited to: interaction with Customer(s) and Stakeholders; development of DE Transformation roadmap(s) and detail action plans; management of strategic and tactical outreach communications in response to Customer’s and Stakeholders’ needs; development and monitoring of direct and indirect DE Transformation performance results and metrics; all in order to drive DE Transformation gap closures in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Digital Engineering Transformation efforts across an enterprise environment.
Coordinate and collaborate with directorates and offices across the Customer to transform space and intelligence enterprise to digital engineering practices and approaches.
Develop MBSE-based processes to support corporate systems engineering needs.
Provides technical advice and guidance to senior managers regarding the creation and implementation of new MBSE methods and techniques.
Assesses engineering artifacts and develops models of systems and processes using a MBSE tools.
Participate in collaborative meetings between the MBSE users and the tool development team to communicate modeling needs and help innovate potential solutions.
Define and demonstrate data standards and technologies required to manage the data needs and coordinate with teams supporting enterprise MBSE tool maintenance and integration to ensure solutions meet the needs of new modeling standards.
Work Environment:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience.
An active TS/SCI with Poly is required to be considered for this position.
Background in, and an understanding of development of requirements, CONOPS, architectures, and other systems engineering artifacts.
Experience in designing, developing, and delivering organizational change management strategies and solutions for digital engineering transformation initiatives.
The candidate should have demonstrated experience with SysML, UML or industry standard modelling languages. Experience with UAFP is desired.
Experience with leading actionable and targeted digital engineering transformation plans (e.g., communications, training, sponsor roadmap, coaching, resistance management).
Ability to collaborate closely with teammates and stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
OCSMP Certification Level 1 or higher desired (with ability to complete OCSMP Level 2 or higher).
OCSMP Certification Level 3 desired.
Previous experience within the intelligence community.
Ability to present and lead enterprise-wide transformation efforts.
