We are responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient communication between our microservices and data centers. Our team values automation, continuous improvement, and collaboration to deliver highly available and scalable solutions. We are constantly exploring and adopting new cloud-native technologies to enhance our platform. If you are passionate about building and operating critical infrastructure in a fast-paced, multi-cloud environment, the Cloud Connectivity team is the place for you.
About the Role

Collaborate with development teams to onboard their services onto the service mesh and provide guidance on standard methodologies.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the availability and reliability of the service mesh and related connectivity infrastructure.
Fix and resolve incidents related to the service mesh and network connectivity, working with multi-functional teams as needed.
Implement changes to production systems with a focus on minimizing risk and ensuring stability.
Contribute to the design and implementation of observability solutions (logging, metrics, tracing) for the service mesh.
Document technical designs, operational procedures, and fixing guides.
Actively participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure and processes, finding opportunities for automation and optimization.

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
