Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be the Software Quality Test Engineer for our team in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Software Quality Engineering (SQE) Common Processes that align with AS9100 Quality Management System, Capability Maturity Model-Integrated (CMMI), and program requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Quality Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software testing processes and equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, and driving compliance with contractual and company requirements. You will focus on test engineering, test equipment, and test stations, working closely with test engineering, systems/software development personnel, and program team members.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Focusing on test equipment and test sets, working directly with test engineering and program teams
-Identifying root causes and corrective actions, performing process/product evaluations, and participating in program activities
-Evaluating data to identify systemic test equipment issues and trends
-Participating in peer reviews of software and test equipment requirements, design, and documentation
-Collaborating with software suppliers and participating in testing events of test stations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• STEM degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to interpret Schematic Drawings and Specifications, that will enable test equipment development.
• Understanding of Systems & Software and Test Equipment Processes including Performance Metrics.
• Experience in Requirements, Design, Code and Proof & Validation (P&V) Testing.
• Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex.
• Ability to interpret LabView and Test Stand code.
• Test Equipment Hardware knowledge or background skills.
• Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation and Technical Writing.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration.
• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
• Ability to travel (LM sites, suppliers, testing sites, etc.)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
• ASQ CSQE (Certified Software Quality Engineer)
• Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems/models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulation
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certified
• Experience with Software Suppliers support of test stations.
• Experience with Government customers
• In-depth knowledge of test stations/test sets including validation, verification and certification.
• Strong knowledge of LabView and Test Stand
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
