Manufacturing Support Team Member Staff - PMT

Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be the Performance Management Lead for the MFC Archbald Operations team, responsible for evaluating, tracking, standardizing, and improving operational performance across the Archbald site. You will serve as the Performance Management Team (PMT) Business Partner and lead for the Archbald site, leading all aspects of the PMT process in Archbald as part of the overarching MFC PMT organization. You will partner with other program functions, including Program Management, Engineering and Technology, Quality and Mission Success, and Global Supply Chain, at all levels to effectively support the PMT process and drive improved performance across the site.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Performance Management Lead, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Evaluate & standardize site operational performance metrics, working closely with Archbald operations leadership along with MFC Enterprise stakeholders
• Work with operations leadership to improve communication/visibility of metrics to manufacturing floor employees
• Support development of metrics dashboards/packages/presentations for communication to site leadership (PMT performance and operational performance)
• Directly support PMT team leads and team managers with PMT team engagement, meeting structure/management, and team performance
• Evaluate team activities for effectiveness and engagement. Responsible for coaching team leaders, facilitators, and members on leadership, presentation and facilitation skills, advises on strategies to maximize productivity
• Motivate teams and ensure focus is aligned with PMT Mission, Production Operations Mission, and key business objectives
• Establish yearly PMT team Cost, Quality and Schedule goals that align with the site business objectives, continuous improvement activities and Corporate Business Transformation initiatives
• Conduct Team Leader and metrics training to enhance the effectiveness of PMT and coordinate other training initiatives as needed.
• Analyze PMT team performance data and provide improvement guidance as required to meet or exceed the team’s PMT goals
• Lead and participate in special projects, facilitate and coordinate team rewards and recognition activities, and exchange best practices with other PMTs across MFC to strengthen PMT performance and overall site performance
• Assure accuracy of savings packages and metric data
• Use problem solving, lean six sigma and continuous improvement techniques and tools to improve processes

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience
• Experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support regular presentations to multiple levels of the organization (both oral & written)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
• Understanding of continuous improvement tools and techniques
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Desired Skills:
• Previous experience leading in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to collect and verify data from multiple systems (including SAP, Apriso, etc.)
• Experience with Tableau and/or other data reporting tools
• Direct experience with PMTs and the PMT process
• Green Belt Certification
• Demonstrated experience Leading / Coaching / Mentoring / Motivating in teaming environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
