THE WORK
Lockheed Martin Corporation's Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) business is searching for an experienced System Engineering professional to join our team. As a member of the team, you will be supporting domestic and foreign military programs.
WHO WE ARE
This role is for a Systems Engineering Asc. Manager within the eTech Mission Systems, Sikorsky Line of Business. The department supports Naval Helicopter Programs and is responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with multiple MH-60R and MH-60S subsystem capabilities. The particular department for which this position is for includes areas related to production support, customer specific configuration changes, and SEIT execution for the MH60-R/S platforms. The teams’ responsibilities include the day to day tasks related to the Radar and ESM Subsystems on the Surveillance Concurrent Engineering Team (CET) as well as the Segment Mission Controller Concurrent Engineering Team (SMC CET), which includes mission systems processing functionality. As the First Line Manager you will be responsible for coordinating the teams’ work across multiple US Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, earned value performance, as well as ensuring adequate staffing, and personnel growth for members of your department.

Basic Qualifications:• Technical degree, or 9 years of applicable experience in a related field (or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree).
• Experience in technical leadership role or formal technical management experience
• Systems Engineering experience on a development program, including experience in requirements flow-down, requirements derivation, verification planning, system architecture, and CONOPS development
• Full understanding of the interdependencies of the systems engineering “V”
• Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

- Experience in customer interfacing on technical
- Previous Control Account Management (CAM) Experience (including Earned Value Management)
- Proposal and Basis of Estimate (BOE) writing experience

- Systems Integration experience on avionic platforms.
- Prior experience working in a DevOps/DevSecOps environment
- Strong analytical/debug and SW/HW integration and test skills
- Demonstrated and recognized for Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors and skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
