Description:You will be the Inspection Supervisor for the Quality Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming materials and products, implementing process improvements, and complying with regulatory and company requirements.
What You Will Be Doing:As the Inspection Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the receiving inspection process, as well as leading and developing a team of inspection personnel. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all incoming materials and products meet our quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and coordinating the receiving inspection process
Training and developing inspection personnel
Conducting audits and performance assessments
Assigning work, managing salaries, and taking recognition/disciplinary actions
Implementing process improvements to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements

Basic Qualifications:-US Citizenship required for this position
-Experience in quality control or a related field, with -knowledge of inspection procedures and protocols.
-Experience supervising or managing a team of represented members, with strong leadership and communication skills.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies, issues, make informed decisions.
-Experience communicating effectively with staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
-Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including industry-specific regulations and policies.
-Experience with inspection equipment and tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and spectrometers
-Strong computer skills, including experience with inspection software and databases
Desired Skills:-Certification in a quality control or inspection field, such as CQE or CQA
-Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
-Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and statistical quality control (SQC)
-Experience with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
-Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, such as DCMA regulations
-Experience with supply chain management and purchasing

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
