What does a successful Client Development Manager do?
The Client development manager will assume the relationship management role in leading Fiserv’s overall business relationship with a portfolio of clients from a strategic and consultative perspective. Serving as the primary contact for the client’s assigned, you will be responsible for managing and growing the overall relationship with senior-level decision makers and influencers with clients to create customer loyalty and increase revenues.
Customer focus/centricity is a core requirement. The role will require sales plans to be delivered and the sales pipeline to be actively managed and maintained. The ideal candidate must be focused on revenue targets both in year and longer term. Ability to work at all levels within the organisation is essential.
This is a quota carrying position and, as such, is eligible for Fiserv’s sales incentive plans.
What you will do:
- Work with client stakeholders to identify key growth opportunities that align with Fiserv’s business objectives and capabilities. Focus being on digital strategy and how the Fiserv’s roadmap supports the client emerging payment and the omni-channel experience.
- Thought Leadership - devise compelling strategic narratives tailored to the client based on research insight. Specific focus on emerging fintech trends globally, fintech trends specific to the Spanish market, competitive landscape and Spanish/European macroeconomic forecasts.
- Act as a business-as-usual representative of the agreement and relationship between the parties and provide consultancy to the customer around Fiserv's product suite including strategy development.
- Responsible for the billing process, ensuring ongoing accuracy and that revenues are in line with projections.
- Management responsibility for demand and volume forecasting because of changes to the Services or volumes.
- Work with the Account Director to support financial forecasting, liaising with the client to ensure sound data points which align with business objectives.
- Prepare input for client facing commercial discussions with regular reviews of the business case to ensure financial KPIs are being met and conduct regular reviews of key contractual clauses to ensure commitments being met by both parties.
- Manage Fiserv’s audit, risk and compliance interface and prepare management reporting as required.
What you will need to have:
- Minimum 5+ years of previous sales and/or relationship management experience within the finance industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Acquiring knowledge is a must.
- Issuing experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication (Spanish and English).
