What does a successful Anti-Money Laundering Manager do?
The AML Manager will be a compliance professional within Fiserv’s Financial Crimes Compliance Team working from New Jersey’s largest Fintech hub in Fiserv’s brand new 400,000-square-foot facility.This role requires knowledge of the current regulatory landscape and compliance requirements prescribed by the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws and statutes as they relate to non-depository financial institutions. This role will be part of a diverse team of AML compliance professionals who will be responsible for reviewing processes related to Fiserv’s merchant monitoring program, supporting FCC with day-to-day operational processes and reporting to various regulatory bodies or partners. Fiserv is looking for a qualified individual to perform quality control functions within merchant services.
What you will do:
- Perform quality control reviews for a wide variety of functions within the merchant services vertical, including fraud and AML investigations.
- Ensure adherence to establish quality standards and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and sanctions regulations.
- Propose corrective actions to improve compliance with quality specifications.
- Recommend new or improved quality assurance methods, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct in-depth investigations using both internal and external tools to arrive at sound risk-based conclusions.
- Communicate conclusions maintaining a consistent, methodical approach in a highly regulated and deadline-driven environment.
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience involving financial crimes investigations within a Fintech, money services business, or financial institution.
- 2+ years of experience using investigative techniques including transaction analysis, evidence gathering, and pattern recognition.
- 2+ years of experience with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., BSA).
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 7+ years of experience in managing high-risk compliance programs in a multinational company.
- 3+ years of experience with financial crimes compliance systems, technologies, and processes, especially AML transaction monitoring typologies and rules.
- Advanced certification in compliance or regulatory management (e.g. Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist Certification (CAMS), and/or Certified Fraud Examiner Certification (CFE), and/ or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager certification (CRCM)).
- Master’s Degree or JD
