This role is crucial for mitigating risk exposure to Fiserv by identifying activities that pose significant reputational or regulatory risks. The position involves working on highly complex issues with high-profile clients and managing various business programs and processes.
What you will do:
- Provide guidance on legal, regulatory, and compliance programs, processes, and procedures to various levels within the functional unit.
- Review and analyze new and existing business opportunities in payment acceptance channels; provide detailed recommendations and risk assessments aligned with regulatory requirements and Fiserv strategies.
- Execute compliance monitoring and testing for various verticals.
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and programs to minimize risk.
- Foster a common vision and provide clear direction and priorities for their area of responsibility within FCC and outside the department.
- Supervise professional and administrative staff within the functional unit and across multiple geographic locations as needed.
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in retail, consumer financial services, or payment services organizations, or a regulatory agency, or a law firm involving payment services compliance issues.
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of regulations within the banking/financial services industry and retail/commercial financial products/services.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 7+ years of experience in working within high-risk verticals such as gaming, sports wagering, money services businesses, and cryptocurrency.
- Advanced certification in compliance or regulatory management.
- Experience representing organizations at industry events and providing subject matter expertise on payments processing.
- JD or other graduate degree.
