What does a successful Security & Fraud Solutions Sales Executive do?
At Fiserv, the Security & Fraud Solutions Sales Executive consults with our largest, most strategic clients, driving the sales and client relations teams in selling Fiserv’s Security and Fraud Solutions across multiple merchant vertical channels. This includes products such as TransArmor, Rapid Comply, 3DS, and Fraud Mitigation. The role involves providing enterprise-level consultation, focusing on delivering value-based solutions and fostering competitive displacement on strategic sales engagements.
Travel expectation: Ability to travel 60-80%.
What you will do:
- Drive sales and demand generation activities, building pipelines to achieve new sales growth and line of business sales with our largest, most strategic clients.
- Consult with senior leaders and provide thought leadership on Security & Fraud Solutions.
- Lead multiple opportunities concurrently in various stages of the selling cycle, identifying and closing new business using the sales process methodology.
- Develop and present business cases with solutions, financial justifications, and expected results to overcome objections and win the business with maximum revenue/margin.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms, leveraging appropriate deal review processes and working closely with relationship management on cross-sales opportunities.
- Provide enterprise-level consultation to clients, proactively driving value-based solutions and capabilities.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in sales and/or business development roles with a proven track record of successful performance against quota.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic sales with verifiable results of goal achievement.
- 3-5 years of experience in electronic payments services, fraud, and technology solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in negotiating pricing and contract terms in a technology software or services sales environment.
- 5+ years of experience in developing strategic account plans for new and existing clients.
What would be great to have:
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills demonstrated by the ability to build and sustain relationships at a very senior level with clients, gaining trusted advisor status.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of solution selling and prior knowledge of Fiserv and former First Data offerings.
- MBA preferred.
- Familiarity with Fiserv's products and services, including the Expert Selling Force Management framework.
- Data protection and fraud detection product sales experience.
