About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a
Lead Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager to join their Multifamily Capital asset management platform. This team member will be responsible for the ongoing risk assessment and risk reporting of a portfolio of Fannie Mae multifamily loans. The Portfolio Manager performs all functions associated with monitoring the performance of a multifamily loan throughout its life, commencing with the initial funding and continuing until satisfaction of the debt or transfer to a special servicer pursuant to investor guidelines.
In this role, you will:- Manage overall asset management of an assigned portfolio of Fannie Mae performing commercial real estate loans.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting property level operating performance using enterprise and investor reporting applications and tools
- Assessing, analyzing, and reporting risk, conducting loan risk ratings
- Monitoring borrower compliance with loan requirements and covenants
- Performing and/or reviewing property physical inspections/assessment of on-site management staff/local market conditions
- Watch list monitoring, as applicable
- Processing of borrower requests and lender consents
- Administration of collateral reserve accounts
- Managing the daily workflow of the assigned portfolio
- Adhering to all investor and internal risk mitigation practices, reporting requirements and deadlines
- Understanding and adhere to all asset management requirements as communicated by the investor (Fannie Mae via applicable guides, lender memorandums, e-mail, and other correspondence
- Understanding and adhering to all internal credit, risk and internal control policies as are applicable to asset management
- Assisting the broader team on projects when needed
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- 5+ years demonstrating a high-level skill set that encompasses financial analysis, real estate and property management operations, market knowledge, knowledge of mortgage and legal documents, and credit risk analysis
- Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
- Familiarity with structured loan transactions
- Competence with Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac multifamily asset management technology tools
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of credit and income producing real estate
- Comprehension of complex commercial real estate loan documentation
- Exposure to multifamily real estate development, property management or underwriting
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel capabilities
- Good understanding of Financial Statements relating to Financial/Credit Analysis
- Understanding of valuation and discounted present value concepts
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or related field

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
