Supply Chain Workforce Development Associate Manager

Description:You will be an Associate Manager for the Missiles & Fire Control Global Supply Chain Workforce Development Team, responsible for leading a high-performing team and driving operational excellence. What You Will Be Doing
As the Supply Chain Workforce Development Associate Manager, you will be responsible for achievement of the Missiles & Fire Control Global Supply Chain Workforce Development Team objectives. Job duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Supervise a high performing workforce development team
• Collaborate with manager on team project assignments, oversee & provide guidance
• Oversee the Supply Chain Academy learning curriculum & employee experience using adult learning methodology
• Perform high volume complex project management & execution
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization
• Play a key role in preparing the workforce for the upcoming transition to new Supply Chain Management systems (1LMX)
• Drive team operational excellence
• Contribute to continuous improvement in both operations & training content to successfully meet internal customer needs & business objectives
• Oversee team standard operating procedures creation & maintenance
• Oversee strategic implementation of Learning Management System capabilities for the Supply Chain Academy
• Oversee department communications & provide strategic guidance regarding functional communications support
• *This role may also facilitate & monitor Supply Chain Academy training classes, develop assigned training content utilizing adult learning principles & manage additional projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in a related field
• Strong leadership skills
• Strategic thinking skills
• Knowledge of Instructional Design & Adult Learning Principles
• Proven ability to plan, organize and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced & complex environment
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & digital platforms
• Strong interpersonal & relationship management skills across levels, functions & personalities
• Excellent & professional communication skills (verbal & written)
• Strong, credible presentation & instruction skills
• Ability to develop training content & deliver training to individuals and groups
• Business acumen & ability to make data informed decisions
• Able & willing to travel (~10-20%)
Desired Skills:
• Experience performing training gaps analysis & training curriculum development
• Tech savvy, able to quickly learn, adopt & train others on new technology
• Change Management Certification
• Supply Chain experience in subcontract management, component & associated complex assemblies, & equipment purchases within Defense or Aerospace industries & Supply Chain Management systems
• Intermediate to thorough knowledge of DoD acquisition policies & requirements for FAR / DFAR based contracts working for a DOD prime contractor or sub tier supplier
• Familiarity with acquisition policies & procedures such as Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
• Cross-functional knowledge including Engineering, Supplier Quality, Production Operations & Finance as they relate to Supply Chain
• Lean Six sigma green belt trained & certification OR Project Management trained & certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
