Description: You will be the Communications Director, Integrated Communications for the functional communications team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Communications Director, Integrated Communications, you will be responsible for MFC Media Relations, Trade Shows, Digital and Social Media, Marketing, Protocol and Customer Engagement, Employee and Executive Communications and Social Impact. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing strategic guidance and leadership and partnering with the MFC leadership team to ensure there are synergies and strong collaboration that deliver desired business outcomes
• Working closely with business area and corporate peers to support One Lockheed Martin communications campaigns
• Driving innovation, an AI roadmap, collaboration and camaraderie across the entire team

Further Information About This Opportunity:
The preferred location for this position would be based in Grand Prairie, Texas, or Orlando, Florida, and reports to the MFC Vice President, Communications. Please note that we can also consider candidates that are not open to relocating to Orlando or Grand Prairie if they are willing to travel approximately 50% to either/both locations.

• Manage and mentor team, ensuring they are aligned to the company and corporate strategy; developing strategic thinkers/trusted advisors and growing their leadership teams in a consistent manner.
• Candidate must be strategic, collaborative, detail oriented, and have strong teamwork philosophy.
• Establish a vision and strategy for the team that aligns with the overarching Communications and MFC strategy.
• Develop, support and implement proactive, strategic and integrated communications.
• Provide counsel to leaders and executives and support critical internal and external engagement activities.
• Identify opportunities for the team to digitally transform.

•Willingness to provide input to strategic roadmap and technology exploration and investment to ensure we are able to support the emerging needs of our key stakeholders.
• Use metrics, data and feedback to continuously improve and adjust.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
